New England ASSE PDC next week

If you are attending the New England ASSE Professional Development Conference next week please stop by our table during the Exhibitor’s Show Tuesday.  One of the main reasons I am promoting The Safely Working Project is to get feedback.  Comments and observations are very important as I continue to develop and refine the concepts and information that is key to the Project.  I hope to see you there!!

Have a Wonderful Thanksgiving!!

Have you given SafetySidekick Search a try?

It’s a simple interface on your smart device that yields results that are more likely to be what you are trying to find.  Type in your search terms and select a search focus:

Overview – all 4 searches
National Safety Council (NSC.org)
OSHA (OSHA.gov)
NIOSH (NIOSH.gov)
World Wide Web (WWW)

Click “Search” and a page with the results will appear.  Review and click through to get more information.  You can even request additional search results.  Safety Sidekick Search helps you avoid all the ads and clutter.  “SafetySidekick.com” is just one of the efforts we’re undertaking to promote a Safely Working Environment.  Give it a try!

Thanks to the Greater West Virginia ASSE Chapter

I spoke to members of the Greater West Virginia Chapter of the ASSE last night in Huntington, WV.  The attendees were a mix of Safety Professionals and students and faculty from Marshall University.  My introduction to The Safely Working Project was well received.  I’m hopeful that my presentation will prove useful for those in attendance.  I enjoyed the evening and am very appreciative of the support the Chapter has given to me and The Safely Working Project!!

I’m off to the New England Area ASSE Professional Development Conference December 2, 2014.
